The District Attorney’s Office is committed and proud to support employees who serve
and defend our country through service in the United States Military Reserve. These
employees include Assistant District Attorneys Major Michelle Keely, USAF; Major
Jack Spencer, USAF, Captain Christine Guten, USAF; and Legal Secretary SSGT Carol
Foster, USA. Former Assistant District Attorneys Col. Russell Anderson, USMC; Lt.
Col. Gordon Edwards, USA; Lt. Col. David Youll, USA; and Captain Zach Smith, USA;
also served our country while employed in the District Attorney’s Office. In 2004
District Attorney Tim Harris was nominated by employees in the military and recognized
as a Patriotic Employer by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard
and Reserve. Harris was privileged to attend Boss Lift 2004 at the Jacksonville,
Fl. Naval Air Station and to observe the type of training and leadership duties
that our Reserve and Guard units fulfill.
